Slade is has and is going to make quite a name for himself


He grew up being a solid red sox fan, but now he has plenty of reason to change his fan focus. Would'nt you after being selected by the New York Yankees, in the 29th pick in the first years player draft.

He is ranked no.72 overall by Baseball America. He hails from Texas and made his debut there as an outfielder.

In his own words...
"Like I've said all along throughout this whole process, I'm in a win-win situation either way," he said. "I'm ready to get started if it works out. I'm just in an excellent situation right now."
